Microblading for Eyebrows

Precision semi-permanent eyebrow design — natural, hair-stroke brows that last

Microblading for Eyebrows

Overview

Well-defined eyebrows frame the face and can dramatically transform one’s appearance. For those with sparse, uneven, over-plucked, or absent eyebrows — whether from over-grooming, alopecia, chemotherapy, or naturally thin brows — Microblading offers a life-changing semi-permanent solution. At Dr. Sonali Gupta’s clinic at Accord Hospital, Faridabad, microblading is performed with clinical precision and an artistic eye for symmetry and proportion — creating beautiful, natural-looking brows that last for years and wake up with you every morning.

What is Microblading?

Microblading is a form of semi-permanent makeup (SPMU) that uses a fine, manual blade composed of tiny needles to deposit pigment into the superficial layers of the skin in hair-like strokes. Each stroke mimics the appearance of a natural eyebrow hair, creating a textured, realistic brow effect that is virtually indistinguishable from real hair. Unlike traditional eyebrow tattooing — which uses a machine and deposits ink deep into the dermis resulting in a solid, unnatural look — microblading creates fine, feathery strokes at a shallower depth, producing results that are natural, soft, and customisable.

The Microblading Process at Dr. Gupta's Clinic

The procedure begins with a detailed consultation in which Dr. Gupta’s team assesses your natural brow shape, facial structure, skin tone, and personal preferences to design the ideal brow shape for your face. A topical numbing cream is applied for approximately 30 to 45 minutes before the procedure begins. Using a precision microblading tool, hair-stroke incisions are made along the mapped brow area, and pigment is deposited into each stroke. The entire procedure takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours for the first session, including consultation and mapping.

A touch-up session is recommended 4 to 6 weeks after the initial treatment. This is a standard part of the microblading process — as the skin heals, some areas may fade unevenly, and the touch-up refines and completes the final result. All microblading procedures at Dr. Gupta’s clinic use premium, skin-safe pigments that are specifically formulated for Indian skin tones.

How Long Does Microblading Last?

Microblading typically lasts between 1 to 3 years depending on skin type, lifestyle, sun exposure, and skincare routine. Oily skin tends to cause faster fading. Annual or biannual colour refresh sessions keep the brows looking fresh. The pigment gradually fades naturally over time — it does not turn blue or green like some older eyebrow tattoo pigments — simply lightening until it disappears, or until a top-up is performed.

Who is Microblading For?

Microblading is ideal for: people with sparse or thin eyebrows, those with gaps or asymmetry in their brows, alopecia patients who have lost eyebrow hair, individuals who want to wake up with perfect brows every morning, and anyone who spends significant time filling in brows daily. It is performed in a clinical, sterile medical setting under Dr. Gupta’s supervision — ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety that distinguish a medical procedure from a salon service.
